8U:
1. All games will be six innings. No new inning will start after 60 minutes. Ties are allowed in pool play. International tie-breaker rules apply for bracket games. There will be no time limit and no tie-breaker rules for the championship game.
2. Games may start up to 30 minutes early.
3. Bases are 60 feet. Base runners may not leave the base until the ball is hit. There is no stealing
or advancing on a passed ball.
4. The coach must pitch with at least one foot in the inner circle.
5. The play is over and runners may not advance when the player pitcher has control of the ball, in
the inner circle. Runners having advanced half-way will be awarded the next base, provided this
does not force a lead runner beyond a base he should be awarded.
6. All players present must bat. Each batter will be given a maximum of 5 pitches. However, 3
strikes prior to 5 pitches is an out. Batter will be permitted an extra pitch if the last pitch results
in a foul ball.
7. A maximum of 5 runs may be scored per inning, except for the final inning which has no run
limit. Should a new inning start with less than 10 minutes of game time remaining, the umpire
shall declare that inning as the final inning.
8. If a batted ball hits the pitching coach, the batter will be awarded first base, and the runners
shall advance one base, if forced. If, in the umpire’s discretion, the pitching coach intentionally
made contact with the ball, the batter will be declared out and no runners shall advance.
9. The defensive team will have 10 positions players, including 4 outfielders, 4 infielders, 1 pitcher
and 1 catcher. The pitcher must keep one foot in the inner circle until the ball is pitched. Free
defensive substitutions are allowed.

Changer app. Visiting team shall keep the scoreboard. Scores must be verified with tournament
officials following each game.

11. Games called due to the weather by the umpires or the Tournament Director that cannot be resumed will be considered complete after 2 innings or 1 1⁄2 innings if the home team is ahead.
